Ho ho ho! Father Christmas is on his way!
If you are looking for a fun game to add to your Christmas lessons this year then why not try my Christmas Dominoes. They are great for learning new vocabulary to do with Christmas and are suitable for all ages!
Adding to my collection of domino activities, these Christmas ones are particularly fun when it’s the last lesson of term and you want to do something enjoyable with your pupils. They can also provided as a handout activity to be taken home and completed during the Christmas holidays.
How to play
Since dominoes are easy to play and don’t require lots of instructions, I found that my pupils loved doing them in class when they had finished their other work. But they also loved re-doing them at home and often they got their family members involved to do the activity with them! It can be a great, fun way to encourage learning English outside of the classroom.
As we know, it’s not Christmas without decorations! So another idea of what to do with these Christmas dominoes once completed is to stick them up on the wall of your classroom. You could even stick each one onto bits of coloured paper and make Christmas paper chains with them. The ideas are endless!
Like I’ve said before in previous posts, language learning should be fun. Which is why I love creating different games for my pupils. If you have any games ideas, let me know!
If you purchase this product, or any others from my TPT store, I would really appreciate it if you left me a review!
